Out on the waterfront in Plymouth
  1. 01

    You hear about us

    • Usually through Adult Social Care, a health professional, a leaflet, our Facebook page, or someone you know.
  2. 02

    You get in touch

    • Facebook message, email or a phone call — your enquiry goes straight to Ashleigh.
    Who you'll deal with: Ashleigh
  3. 03

We arrange a meeting to get to know each other

    • Usually at your house, or wherever you'd rather meet.
    • We talk through what we do in more detail and how we can help you live life your way, at home.
    Who you'll deal with: Ashleigh
  4. 04

    Onboarding begins

    • Ashleigh looks after your onboarding, your visit dates and times, and the rota.
    • You tell us your preferences on staff, and we write them down.
    Who you'll deal with: Ashleigh
  5. 05

    First visits, with an introduction

    • Your first visit is an introduction to the staff supporting you.
    • Your core workers get identified during these early visits.
  6. 06

    Relationships get built

    • Over a few weeks you get to know your staff.
    • Any kinks get worked out — tell us and we sort it.
  7. 07

A review after your first two weeks of visits

    • After your first two weeks of visits we sit down with you and review how it is going.
    • We check whether anything else has come up that you need, and how you have been getting on with your staff so far.
  8. 08

Then a review at three months, and every year after that

    • After that first review there is no further review until three months after you started.
    • From then on we review annually. If your needs change sooner, the review happens sooner — nothing waits for a date on a calendar.
    Who you'll deal with: Ashleigh

What does this mean?

  • Nothing is decided at the first meeting — it is a chat.
  • You tell us your preferences on staff and we write them down.
  • Anything about visit times or the rota goes through Ashleigh.
